Arguing heard before teen deaths

NOTTINGHAM, Pa. - March 13, 2008 - Neighbor Penny Carr told the Lancaster New Era that 17-year-old Michael Ryan Hollow and 17-year-old Mae Marie Davis had talked about moving in together. But she says she heard them argue yesterday (Wednesday).

State police say they believe Hollow shot Davis and then himself last night (Wednesday night) in Hollow's trailer home in Little Britain Township. Hollow died at the scene; Davis was pronounced dead early Thursday at Lancaster General Hospital.

Pennsylvania State Police Cpl. Adam Kosheba says Hollow's parents kept their guns in a safe, but the teen was able to get a hold of the .22 caliber rifle used in the shootings.

Investigators say the motive remains unclear.
