Police: Others perhaps injured in Redner's murder

READING, Pa. (AP) - March 13, 2008 District Attorney John T. Adams says investigators believe there was a physical struggle before the death of Gary W. Redner.

Adams is not saying what type of injury may have been inflicted.

But state troopers say the individual or individuals may have sought medical treatment.

The body of 55-year-old Redner of Redner's Wholesale Markets was found Sunday morning outside a neighbor's house in Lower Heidelberg Township.

Redner had been in a tavern on the night before he was found dead, but authorities have said they are not aware of any trouble there.
