Mice on a plane!

DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) - March 14, 2008 An Atlantic Southeast Airlines flight from Des Moines, Iowa, to Atlanta was grounded for five hours yesterday morning.

A flight attendant spotted a mouse before passengers had boarded.

An ASA spokeswoman says a maintenance team had to inspect the plane.

They wanted to make sure the mouse hadn't gnawed through anything that could cause a safety problem.

About 30 passengers were kept waiting by Stewart Little.

But officials say they all were rebooked on other connecting flights.

It's a busy time for the airlines with many people taking spring-break trips.
