Detectives compared the tags in the seized notebooks to those in the state police graffiti database and linked Zickgraf to seven cases.
Zickgraf was charged with seven counts of graffiti and two counts of conspiracy and with marijuana possession, possession of drug paraphernalia and speeding.
He was released on $4,500 unsecured bail and given an 8 p.m. curfew by the judge.
