Teen stopped for speeding linked to graffiti

WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - March 18, 2008 Police say when John Zickgraf was pulled over on March 6th, a trooper smelled marijuana. They say a search turned up a baggie of suspected marijuana, a glass pipe used to smoke marijuana, several caps from spray paint cans and several notebooks with graffiti tags on the front of it.

Detectives compared the tags in the seized notebooks to those in the state police graffiti database and linked Zickgraf to seven cases.

Zickgraf was charged with seven counts of graffiti and two counts of conspiracy and with marijuana possession, possession of drug paraphernalia and speeding.

He was released on $4,500 unsecured bail and given an 8 p.m. curfew by the judge.
