Sixty-year-old Barry Myers of Columbia was taken to Lancaster General Hospital, where he died Monday afternoon. A passenger, Myers' wife, Deborah, was uninjured.
Police say two pieces of fencing blew off the truck driven by 73-year-old Vernon McCauley.
Manor Township Police Cpl. Kim Geyer says the pieces were strapped down but "It appears the wind picked them up." He says police are still investigating.
Myers was a retiree last year from the Armstrong World Industries ceiling plant in Marietta, Lancaster County.
