Man charged in fatal crash after 24 suspensions

MANCHESTER TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP) - March 21, 2008 Clifford Grabowski is free on $200,000 bond, charged with manslaughter and drunken driving.

Manchester Township police say Grabowski's car struck Lorraine Rosatelli's car from behind early Saturday, pushing it into the path of an oncoming SUV. The 66-year-old woman died. The driver of the SUV broke both ankles.

Grabowski was originally charged with death by auto and driving with a suspended license. He disappeared after posting $50,000 bail on Monday.

Grabowski's license was suspended for 10 years in 2002 after his third DWI conviction.
