Toddler drowned on Laurel pool cover

LAUREL, Del. (AP) - March 24, 2008 The autopsy for 22-month-old Kourtland Albino shows he drowned in water that collected on a pool cover.

Albino was taken to Nanticoke Memorial Hospital after he was found unresponsive at the home in the 30000 block of Beaver Dam Branch.

He was pronounced dead Tuesday afternoon, an hour after he was found. Police say no charges have been filed.

Family members found the boy lying unresponsive in 18 inches of water on top of the aboveground pool.
