A federal judge is scheduled to sentence former supermarket baker Agron Abdullahu to a prison term on Monday.
Abdullahu's defense lawyer says the man was just letting friends fire weapons that he legally owned and should get no more than 10 to 16 months in federal prison.
But federal prosecutors say he deserves a harsher sentence because he knew that his friends were plotting an attack.
Abdullahu was arrested last year along with the five other men. The five are charged with conspiring and attempting to kill uniformed personnel.
The others are schedule to be tried in October.
