Daniel Pement will be spend five months in jail for setting off cans of bear repellent on two separate occasions in February.
He blames the incident on his drinking.
Police say Pement twice sprayed the B&B Bar in Kodiak with bear spray after he had been kicked out of the place.
He had accused a bartender of taking five bucks from him.
At his sentencing, Pement read an apology he sent to bar patrons.
