Lehigh students attacked

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - April 8, 2008 So far, there have been four such incidents reported and each time students say they are approached by a small group of attackers who seem to be in their late teens or early twenties.

These cases have all occurred off campus. Bethlehem police are urging Lehigh students to take their personal safety seriously.

Meantime, local authorities are also investigating a disturbing break-in in that same neighborhood.

Police say a Lehigh University student woke up early Saturday morning to find a man inside her apartment.

The man ran away when she screamed but the victim and her roommates later found credit cards, a camera, and some cash had been stolen.
