The incident started with the SUV running 33-year-old Jahaira Roman's car off the road in Hopewell Township, Cumberland County, and into a ditch.
Police say when the suspect realized what had happened, he attacked roman with a knife and slashed her in the face, neck and chest.
Roman is listed in stable condition tonight.
