Deadly crash obliterates car in Collingdale

A medical helicopter rushed the victim from the scene.

The crash happened around 10 a.m. in the are of McDade Boulevard and Roberta Avenue in Collingdale. Police say the victim's car smashed into a utility pole at a high speed.

Medics flew the victim to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania with chest injuries. Doctors were not able to save the driver's life.
