The 85-year-old southern Arizona golfer is legally blind.
But Dunham got his ace over the weekend on the third hole at the Tortuga golf course in Green Valley.
He was playing with a group of fellow blind veterans enrolled in a Veterans Affairs health program.
A volunteer assistant lined him up with the ball, handed him a nine-iron and stepped back.
When the cheering stopped, the World War II veteran thought his buddies might be kidding about his hole-in-one.
Dunham told them they'd better not be pulling his leg.
