Charges filed in trooper's death

WEST CHESTER, Pa. (AP) - April 22, 2008 The lawyer for 40-year-old Kristina Quercetti says the Landenberg woman plans to plead guilty and have a judge determine her sentence. Defense lawyer Thomas Ramsay says his client isn't seeking bail.

Authorities say Quercetti was intoxicated, speeding and driving with her headlights off at the time of the March 27 crash that killed off-duty Trooper Kenton Iwaniec. Police say in addition to having a blood-alcohol level more than four times the legal limit, she also had Oxycodone in her system.

While leaving court, Quercetti told reporters: "I just can't express how sorry I am."
