Water Club taking reservations

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (AP) - April 21, 2008 A wave of new hotel construction is being finished this year, adding badly needed hotel rooms to the resort's market.

On Monday, The Water Club, a $400 million, 800-room stand-alone hotel next to the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa began taking reservations for July 1 and afterward.

Just down the road, Harrah's Waterfront Tower is also booking rooms and the Trump Taj Mahal's new hotel tower scheduled to open in September is taking reservations.

So is the Chelsea, a 330-room, non-casino hotel on the Boardwalk due to open this summer as well.
