Wounded man found with drugs goes to jail

PHILADELPHIA (AP) - April 23, 2008 The 27-year-old man, who was shot in the shoulder in 2006, was convicted in January of possession with intent to distribute cocaine and possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine. He was sentenced Wednesday to nine years and two months in prison.

A male co-defendant was convicted of conspiracy, controlling and maintaining a house for the purpose of drug trafficking and possessing with intent to distribute cocaine and crack cocaine. He was sentenced last week to 20 years in prison. A female co-defendant was convicted of controlling and maintaining a house for the purpose of drug trafficking. She got three years.
