Police: Gang member, 2 others attack Princeton students

PRINCETON, N.J. (AP) - April 23, 2008

Police say the violence began after a 19-year-old female student refused the sexual advances of one of the men in Wilson Hall early Saturday. She was struck in the face and shoved to the ground.

A 20-year-old male and 18-year-old female student jumped to her defense. Police say the male was kicked and stomped after he was knocked to the ground and the woman was hit in the face.

Police identified the Bloods member as Vonzell Kelley, who had several teeth knocked out. The 20-year-old and two others are charged with aggravated assault.

A university spokeswoman calls it an isolated incident.
