Del. man gets 20 years for sharing child porn

WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - April 24, 2008

Authorities say 30-year-old Paul Thielemann was the ringleader of a group that shared the child pornography through the Internet. He and eight co-defendants have pleaded guilty, and all but two men have been sentenced.

At his sentencing Wednesday, Thielemann told U..S. District Judge Sue Robinson he used the pornography to attract men with whom he had a sexual interest. He told prosecutors he did not have a sexual interest in children.

Prosecutors say the police investigation began with a tip from Internet service provider AOL that child pornography had been sent through an account belonging to Thielemann.
