Star Jones divorce
New York, April 24, 2008 She has quietly filed divorce papers in New York
Supreme Court in Manhattan. A representative for the TV personality
confirms to The Associated Press that she's moving to make the
split.
Jones was co-host of "The View" when she tied the knot in
a high-profile ceremony that iced-off some people because of its
excess, her constantly chatting about it -- and the fact that Jones
plugged some of her wedding sponsors on the air. Her contract with
The View wasn't renewed when it expired in 2006.
