Happy homecoming for local Marine

A Marine from Collegeville, Montgomery County is back home after a tour of duty in Iraq. He was welcomed home by a loving crowd of friends and family at Philadelphia International Airport. It's been a long 7 months for the Daller family. That's how long 22-year-old Marine Corporal Adam Daller has been stationed in Iraq.

The family and volunteers from Heroes Welcome waited anxiously? and then the moment came.

Mom was first in line as Adam was welcomed back to the warm embrace of his family; a brother, two sisters, his grandmother and nieces and nephews. It's been a long journey that started last Friday when his flight out was pinned down by a sandstorm. But, he's here now.

Adam's family would like this to be his final welcome home. But he's a gung-ho Marine and has signed up for another tour in Iraq that starts in about 3 weeks. Adam says we still have a job to do over there and he's ready to pitch in.

For now, they'll just savor each other's company, and something else Adam has been longing for? beer and pizza.
