Local author Lise Funderburg on her new book
Funderburg's latest novel "Pig Candy" is the story of her relationship with her dying father.
Funderburg's memoir shares her father's rich and often difficult background and the conflicting choices he has made during his life.
"Pig Candy" takes readers on a journey back to her father's hometown of Jasper County, Georgia.
Funderburg's story is about a man enjoying his life and loved ones through his final days.
Lise Funderburg lives in Philadelphia and is a creative writing instructor at the University of Pennsylvania.
