Officials are still waiting for test results to determine what caused 19-year-old Kristen Marie Dickmann's death. The freshman volleyball player was found unconscious May 5 in her room at the academy in Annapolis, Md. She was rushed to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
About 100 midshipmen in starched whites joined hundreds of teachers, teammates, friends and relatives at a memorial service Tuesday at Unionville High School in Kennett Square.
Following Wednesday's funeral service in Annapolis, burial is scheduled on the Naval Academy grounds.
