Violent double homicide discovered in Kensington

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - May 19, 2008 Police were called out to the 1900 block of East Monouth Street around 4:08 this afternoon. Inside the home was the body of a 36-year-old white female, stabbed in the head and neck along with a Hispanic male, said to be in his 40s, stabbed multiple in the upper body.

Police believe that they have been dead for at least 2 days.

Homicide Capt. Daniel Castro says the male victim was found in the first-floor living room and the female victim was found in a second-floor bedroom.

The identity of the victims has not been released.
