Fire guts 2 Phila. apartments

MORRELL PARK - May 20, 2008

Investigators are searching for the cause of a late night fire in Philadelphia that chased two families out of their apartments.

Flames broke out just before midnight on Monday in an apartment building in the 3400 block of Red Lion Road in the Morrell Park section of the city.

Firefighters managed to quickly contain the blaze to two apartments on the first floor of the two-story building.

Everyone managed to get out of the building safely.
