Teen arrested in Downingtown hacking case

DOWNINGTOWN, Pa.- May 21, 2008 The boy allegedly downloaded personal information including Social Security numbers about school employees and taxpayers.

Police say the ninth-grader at Downingtown West High School is charged with theft by unlawful taking or disposition, computer theft, unlawful duplication and computer trespass. His name wasn't released because of his age.

Downingtown Police said Wednesday that there's no indication so far that the personal information was sold or mass distributed.
