The Corps said the problems do not represent an immediate danger, but that lane and weight restrictions will provide an extra safety measure until repairs can be made.
Officials said both outside lanes on the bridge will be closed starting Tuesday, limiting traffic to one lane in each direction, and that traffic will be restricted to vehicles weighing less than 15 tons. Repairs are tentatively scheduled to be made by the end of the year.
