CHRISTIANA, Del. (AP) - May 24, 2008
State police say 51-year-old John Krug of Deptford, N.J., was
hauling diesel fuel when his tractor trailer sideswiped a state
transportation department truck that was stopped on the shoulder of
a ramp leading from northbound Route 1 onto I-95 southbound.
The tractor-trailer's tank was punctured by the crash and
spilled about a quarter of the 1,750 gallons of diesel fuel it was
carrying. The crash and cleanup closed the ramp for about seven
hours Friday.
