Police say the teen was stabbed in her right calf by her sister, Brandi Childs, who had fled the home. Police found a nine-and-a-half inch kitchen knife they say was used in the assault.
The teen was treated at the Christiana Hospital and released.
Police have a warrant charging Childs with second-degree assault, possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony, offensive touching and terroristic threatening.
