A SWAT team surrounded a house in the Frankford section of Philadelphia early Tuesday where police say a home invasion turned into a standoff between a gunman and police officers. Just after 7 a.m., police were spotted by the Action Cam leading a handcuffed man from the scene.

Early Tuesday morning, suspects broke into a house in the 1000 block of Filmore Street.

Shortly after the break-in, several residents of the house managed to escape unharmed.

Neighbors called police, and officers quickly converged on the street. Police say a gunman remains inside the house, and that at first two teenagers were also in the house, but they since have walked out unharmed.

There are no reports at this time of anyone being hurt. Police have been on a bullhorn, trying to talk the gunman into leaving the house peacefully.

The other suspect who fled the scene of the home invasion has also been caught according to police.

Action News is on the scene and will have the latest on this developing story throughout the morning on the air and on 6abc.com.
