The Jackson theme parks says the new $49.99 ticket price was effective Tuesday and will be available for a limited time.
Mark Kane, the park's president, said rising costs of food, living expenses and airfare means families need ways to stretch money and affordable entertainment close to home.
He noted the cut comes as the park adds new attractions such as the Dark Knight coaster.
