14 jump from crashing plane
GREENSBURG, Ind. (AP) - June 2, 2008 Officials say no one was injured Sunday.
Decatur County sheriff's Deputy Steve Snyder says the
malfunction caused oil to spray on the plane's windshield.
Skydive Greensburg owner Bob Dougherty says the pilot leveled
off at 5,000 feet allowing the skydivers to jump before he returned
to the Greensburg airport. Two of the skydivers were making their
first jump.
When the plane landed, its propellers hit the ground and the
plane flipped over.
