Road rescues underway on I-95

Police and rescue teams are trying to get people out of several vehicles that crashed along I-95 near the Philadelphia International Airport.

The accident happened shortly before noon in the northbound lanes of I-95 in that part of Delaware County.

Rescue teams were trying to get people out of several vehicles according to emergency workers.

Police had several lanes of I-95 blocked while the accident scene was being cleared and investigated.

The highway was open again around 1 p.m.
