3 injured by out of control car

An accident in South Jersey sent several people to the hospital Tuesday night. A car spun out of control and slammed into 3 people - two of them were in wheelchairs. Police say the driver was intoxicated when she plowed into the victims just a few feet from the front door of a Shoprite store, located along the 600 block of White Horse Pike in Absecon, New Jersey.

Police say around 6:00 30-year-old Sharon Alberline was behind the wheel of the gold Ford Escort when all of a sudden the car sped forward. They say to avoid crashing through the glass doors of the store, it appears she turned the wheel at the last second and spun 360-degrees on the sidewalk.

The car plowed into shopping carts and ultimately into three people heading into the grocery store.

Luckily, doctors say all three victims are in good condition.
