Man arrested for Wilmington-area arson

WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - June 4, 2008

Chief Deputy State Fire Marshal Alan Brown says 21-year-old Robert Cooper was involved in an argument with the two occupants before the fire was set at the address in the 500 block of Homestead Road.

The two people inside put the fire out before firefighters from Five Points Fire Company arrived.

Brown says no one was injured and damage was estimated at $1,000.

Cooper is charged with first-degree arson and two counts of first-degree reckless endangering.
