Three friends, same birthday, graduate

WYOMISSING, Pa. - June 4, 2008 It's not merely their friendship or their impressive grades.

First of all, Martha Blakely, Ariel Sodomsky, and Katie O'Rourke have been friends since they were kids.

But it was a few years after they met when they discovered a really unusual coincidence.

They were all born on the same day.

In fact, they were all born just hours apart on June 28,1990.

Sodomsky and O'Rourke were even born in the same location of Reading Hospital.

And now, after celebrating their friendship and a bunch of birthdays, there's another thing intertwining their lives.

This week, Ariel, Martha, and Katie will graduate together from Wyomissing High School as the top three girls in academic rank for the class of 2008.

The best part is that they didn't realize how bizarre this whole thing is until other classmates brought it up.

All three will be attending different colleges in the fall, but before then they are all having a happy 18th birthday
