Commerce Bank bike race today

MANAYUNK, Pa. - June 8, 2008 The race may start and end at the Art Museum, but everyone knows the Commerce Bank Philadelphia International Championship Race lives and dies in Manayunk.

There along the way is that famed or infamous Manayunk wall, depending on how a competitor looks at it.

For the 25-team field competing in the men's race, riders will complete the course 10 times before completing the 156-mile race.

The women will complete a 14.4-mile course.

The bottom line is if you're coming out and you're not planning on a bar or restaurant, you better pack a cooler and fill it up.
