Police: Women accused of sex-filled sleepover

LOWER MAKEFIELD, Pa. - June 11, 2008

Investigators tell Action News the incident happened on April 14th of this year, inside the home of 45-year-old Lynne Long, a friend of Honeycutt.

Police in Lower Makefield, Bucks County, say 38-year-old Angela Honeycutt, a mother of two, engaged in sexual intercourse and sexual activity with a 15-year-old boy. Honeycutt allegedly sexually assaulted a 14-year-old boy at the sleepover, being held for Long's son.

Police Chief Ken Coluzzi says "In all my years in Philadelphia, homicide cases and sex crimes, I thought I'd seen it all. But this is particularly outrageous."

Honeycutt is accused of having sex with 2 boys, ages 14 and 15, during a party attended by four other boys, all 16 years old or younger, who ended up becoming witnesses what investigators describe as a felony sexual assault.

"All while the homeowner hosting the party knew full well what was going on, allowed it to continue, and actually encouraged it," Coluzzi claims.

The homeowner is 45 year old Lynne Long, who was also arrested on charges of endangering the welfare of children.

Heather, a neighbor who didn't want her last name revealed, was surprised, saying "She's very mortified, very upset. I think she's very deeply sorry for what happened. She's really a good person. It's just a shocking situation."

Investigators say Honeycutt even performed an erotic, topless dance for the 6 boys, engaging them in a sexually explicit conversation and then lured two of the juveniles into the shower with her.

Neighbors in this quiet community are stunned.

Carolyn Mann is among them, saying "I feel like we hear about these stories every now and then, so it's kind of surprising."

Another neighbor, Kelly Hutchinson, said "You live in Yardley on a little cul-de-sac, but you really don't know what kind of things go on in people's lives."

Police add that Long actually encouraged the boys to listen to the sexual intercourse from a bedroom doorway.

Action News has learned that one of the boys at the sleepover later told his mother what happened. The mother called police, who began their investigation.

Honeycutt faces a slew of charges, including Statutory Sexual Assault. Long is charged with Corruption of a Minor and Child Endangerment. Both were released from jail Wednesay after posting bail.

Investigators say Honeycutt has a prior drug charge on her record.
