Read during the summer!

Brush up on the kids' reading skills during the summer.The Free Library of Philadelphia offers its annual summer reading program beginning Monday, June 16th.

Catch the Reading Bug is for everyone, even preschoolers who cannot read yet, and adults. If you can't take part in person, there's an online version.

Everyone who reads is eligible for prizes. Details are available at your neighborhood library or online at www.freelibrary.org.

Libraries in Philadelphia and the four suburban counties will also offer free science programs for children entering grades 2 through 6.

"Science In The Summer" will spotlight chemistry this year.

All of these programs are free to participants.
