Coast Guard lifts ailing diver off Cape May

CAPE MAY, N.J. (AP) - June 13, 2008 There's no immediate word on the 34-year-old man's condition.

The Coast Guard received a call at 10:17 a.m. from a crew member aboard the dive boat Bubble Trouble reporting a diver had surfaced unconscious.

A helicopter crew hoisted the diver from aboard a pleasure boat and took him to Cape May County Airport in Wildwood, where an ambulance took him to a hospital.
