Shirtless man cited

EASTON, Md. (AP) - June 13, 2008

Sean Cephus is in trouble for being shirtless.

A town ordinance dating back to 1974 bans bare upper bodies in public, both male and female.

Possible penalties are a fine of up to 100 bucks and 10 days in the slammer.

Cephus was also cited for failing to stop for police.

Easton officials say people without shirts are considered a public nuisance. Only three citations have been issued since 2003.
