At his sentencing Tuesday in Camden, 57-year-old Charles Lynch also was ordered to pay $115,000 in restitution to the U.S. Postal Service.
He pleaded guilty to a one-count information in July 2007.
Lynch formerly resided in Galloway Township and moved to Ohio last year.
He will remain free on $50,000 bond pending his surrender to federal prison officials on a date to be determined.
