In addition to re-paving, workers will install a swinging gate in the divider between Conshohocken & Gladwyne. If an accident closes traffic lanes in one direction, police will then be able to divert traffic onto the other side of the road.
The work is expected to be completed by the end of October. During the upcoming July 4th and Labor Day holidays, construction work will be completely suspended in an effort to help cut down on traffic congestion even during the late night and overnight hours.
