Police in Germany say an American hiker was rescued thanks to her bra.
Jessica Bruinsma of Colorado was hurt in a fall while hiking in the Bavarian Alps.
The 24-year-old was stranded for nearly three days on a rocky overhang after suffering a dislocated shoulder.
She attracted the attention of lumberjacks by tying her bra to a cable used to carry timber.
A local police officer says Bruinsma used her head by keeping her shirt and jacket, but using her bra as a signal.
The officer adds, "She's a very smart girl."
