A SEPTA bus knocks down utility pole

A SEPTA bus driver knocks out power in neighborhood.

The accident happened around 4:30 a.m. near the intersection of 20th & Johnston streets in South Philadelphia.

The bus took down a transformer, a number of electrical wires and several trees.

Power was knocked out in the neighborhood.

The driver of the SEPTA bus Route 68 suffered minor injuries.

He was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania to be treated.

There were no passengers on board at the time of the crash.
