A Philadelphia police officer was hurt in a wreck that sent a truck onto a house.

The collision happened around 3:45 a.m. near the intersection of Pulaski and West Coulter streets in East Falls.

The officer from the 39th police district suffered minor injuries. He was hospitalized. The driver of the bread delivery truck was not hurt.

Investigators say it appears the bread truck was having brake problems at the time of the accident. The truck ended up on the steps of a home, but there are no reports anyone inside was hurt.
