Corzine to sign bill that keeps casinos open
ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (AP) - June 27, 2008 A shutdown in 2006 closed the casinos for 3 days and lost
millions of dollars in gambling revenue.

absence of state inspectors. If they're caught doing anything
wrong, the governor can immediately close them and increase
penalties for breaking state rules.
