The reports claim that model Ruslana Korshunova, 20, plunged out of her lower Manhattan apartment in New York City onto the street below during mid-afternoon Saturday .
She had just recently returned to New York City from a modeling job in Paris.
Korshunova had appeared in ad campaigns for Christian Dior, DKNY, and Vera Wang, according to the New York Post.
The publications say Korshunova was raised in the former Russian republic of Kazakstan, and that she was discovered by an agent who spotted her photograh in an in-flight magazine.
The British edition of Vogue hailed Korshunova as "a face to be excited about" in 2005, according to reports by the Associated Press.
