Firefighters and EMS rushed to the scene afer reports that both a motorcycle and van started burning after the collision. The accident happened at about 10 minutes before noon.
At least one person died in the accident, but the victim's identity was not yet available.
The crash on the 1500 block of Route 309 near Clay Avenue. Police had the entire highway closed until roughly 2:20 p.m., when two lanes of Route 309 reopened.
The highway has since reopened.
The conditions of the other victims involved in the crash are being withheld at this hour.
