Classic rock taking over funerals

ADELAIDE, Australia (AP) - July 2, 2008

An Australian cemetery manager says traditional hymns are being replaced at funerals by the classics: rock classics.

Centennial Park CEO Bryan Elliott says Led Zeppelin's "Stairway to Heaven" and AC/DC's "Highway to Hell" are among the most requested songs at his cemetery, in the southern city of Adelaide.

But number-one on the funeral chart is Frank Sinatra's classic, "My Way."

No word if people are requesting the Grateful Dead, too.
