Floyd C. Bogle of Paterson, N.J., was returned to Berks County Prison without bail following Wednesday's preliminary hearing.
Police say he stabbed 62-year-old Kendrick Bogle of Allentown last year as the father sat in his car in the parking lot of a battery factory where he worked. Court records allege that the son had run up debts in the father's name and that the father told the son that he had reported the matter to police the day before the stabbing.
